My research stands to derive the understanding of the catalytic phenomena at different length and time scales by working at the interface between the catalyst synthesis and characterization, reaction mechanisms and kinetics, and reactor and process design. It is primarily focused on providing rationales for the advances in catalysts and processes enabling direct methane activation, valorization of methanol, and utilization of CO2, which are the key platform molecules to secure sustainability of our society in the years to come.
