Biosimo-Chemicals received funding from Gebert Rüf Stiftung through its InnoBooster programme
With the help of the InnoBooster grant, Biosimo provides funding to the process R&D team to design and develop the pilot plant in 2022-2023. The R&D team will run validation tests with its collaborators to design the distillation and extraction processes.
Biosimo is a clean-tech start-up, originated and hosted in our group, producing bio-based (renewable) chemicals which make synthetic products eco-friendly.
Gebert Rüf Stiftung was established by entrepreneur Heinrich Gebert as a science and innovation foundation. As a private funding agency guided by its mission statement, «making science effective», it supports entrepreneurial projects committed to achieving an impact.
