Recent advances in electron crystallography rank 5th breakthrough of the year 2018
Our publication in Angewandte "Rapid structure determination of microcrystalline molecular compounds using electron diffraction" (Angew. Chem. Int. Ed. 10.1002/anie.201811318) was selected as one out of twelve candidates worldwide by Science Magazine for the research 2018 Breakthrough of the Year, and made the fifth rank.
Recent advances in electron crystallography published in Angewandte Chemie and highlighted by Science, Nature, Chemical & Engineering News, ScienceNews and Phys.org!
Tim and co-workers published a paper (Angew. Chem. Int. Ed. 10.1002/anie.201811318) presenting electron diffraction as a powerful technique for structure determination of small size crystals. Several media such as Science, Nature, Chemical & Engineering News, ScienceNews and Phys.org have covered this advance.
Members of the Laboratory for Catalysis and Sustainable Chemistry made it into Angewandte!
A paper entitled "Effect of Active Sites Structure on Activity of Copper Mordenite in Aerobic and Anaerobic Conversion of Methane to Methanol" by Vitaly and Dennis is published in Angewandte Chemie Int. Ed.
